Ready to tackle the spectacular Larapinta Trail without the hassle of organising all your logistics?

Our Adventure Pack – West to East is designed for hikers starting at Redbank Gorge (Section 12) and hiking east to Standley Chasm (Section 3/4).

Whether you’re hiking solo, with friends or as part of a group, we’ve got your essential trail logistics covered.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

1. TRAIL TRANSFER – ALICE SPRINGS TO REDBANK GORGE

Start your adventure with a comfortable transfer from Alice Springs to Redbank Gorge, the western end of the Larapinta Trail.

Available departure times:

• 7:00 AM


• 2:00 PM

Transport for hikers, backpacks and trekking equipment is included.

2. TRAIL TRANSFER – STANDLEY CHASM TO ALICE SPRINGS

Once you’ve completed your adventure, we’ll collect you from Standley Chasm and transfer you back to Alice Springs.

Available pickup times:

• 1:00 PM


• 7:00 PM

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride back to Alice Springs. You’ve earned it!

3. TWO FOOD DROPS

Your Adventure Pack includes:

• Two 55L food drop containers.


• Pre-trek delivery of empty containers to your nominated Alice Springs accommodation.


• Collection of packed containers from your accommodation reception / storage room.


• Delivery to two designated Larapinta Trail food drop locations.


• Collection of containers after your trek.


• Rubbish disposal included.

Food drop locations and arrangements will be confirmed before your trek.

4. STORAGE KEY HIRE

Storage key hire is included in your Adventure Pack.

Keys must be returned at the end of your hike using the agreed return arrangement.

A $50 replacement fee applies to lost, damaged or unreturned keys.

FOOD DROP CONTAINER ALLOWANCES

Your Adventure Pack includes two food drops, with the number of 55L containers determined by your group size.

• 1–3 hikers: 1 container per food drop (2 total)


• 4–6 hikers: 2 containers per food drop (4 total)


• 7–9 hikers: 3 containers per food drop (6 total)


• 10–12 hikers: 4 containers per food drop (8 total)


• 13–16 hikers: 4 containers per food drop (8 total)

All container hire, pre-trek accommodation delivery, packed container collection, delivery to designated food drop locations and post-trek container retrieval are included.

Additional food drop containers can be arranged at an extra cost.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

Trek Start Date: The date selected on the Rezdy booking calendar must be your intended hiking start date at Redbank Gorge, NOT your food drop container collection date.

Return Transfer: Your expected finishing date at Standley Chasm and preferred pickup time must be provided during booking.

Transfer Times: All departure and pickup times are subject to availability and confirmation.

Food Drop Containers: Containers must be packed, securely closed, clearly labelled and left at your nominated accommodation reception / storage room ready for collection on the agreed date.

Accommodation Details: Please provide your Alice Springs accommodation details so we can coordinate container delivery and collection.

National Park Fees: Larapinta Trail camping and park fees are not included.
